1-28-2019 Washington, DC. An Officer and Gentlewoman, LLC (AOAGWLLC) the Veteran-owned production company that produces the Miss PA for America and Mrs. PA America pageant, has made an announcement that they will be relocating the pageant to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In the previous years, the pageant was held in Philadelphia.
The new location is at the Ware Center-Millersville University, in Lancaster. The pageant will be held at 5pm on April 6, 2019. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
The beautiful Ware center is one of the last buildings designed by world-renowned architect Philip Johnson completed in 2008. Originally built for the Pennsylvania Academy of Music, the facility includes state-of-the-art sound and acoustics befitting a world-class performance facility.
“We are excited to have the Miss PA for America and Mrs. PA America pageant here at the Ware Center. The pageant promotes achievements of women throughout our state and we support their efforts,” states Amy Banks, Arts Communication Manager.
Community leaders from around the state of Pennsylvania are expected to attend the event. The production will be presented by ThomasRiley Strategies, LLC, listed on Inc. magazines top 5000 companies in America. The “Voice” Rick Bernstein will host the pageant for the 4th year in a row. The reigning queen, Sandahl Taylor will crown her successor and she will also crown the first ever Miss PA for America.
The winners of Miss PA for America and Mrs. PA America will move on to their respective national pageants, Miss for America and Mrs. America, in August. The national pageants will be held at the Westgate Hotel in Las, Vegas.
The host hotel for the contestants is the Home2Suites by Hilton.
The Miss PA for America and Mrs. PA America publicly recognize women, living in the state of Pennsylvania, who have obtained personal, professional, and community achievements. As official preliminary pageants to Miss for America and Mrs. America, respectively, the pageants welcome women from all ethnic backgrounds to compete in a yearly pageant for the titles.
