NATAS SOUTHEAST HONORS PRESTIGIOUS GROUP OF BROADCASTERS

ATLANTA, GA — July 23, 2026 — The Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS Southeast) is proud to announce the 2026 Gold and Silver Circle honorees. This year’s prestigious awards banquet recognizes an exceptional group of broadcast professionals whose careers have helped shape the television industry.
The Gold and Silver Circle recognizes individuals whose dedication, excellence, and contributions have left a lasting impact on their profession and the communities they serve. The annual banquet and induction ceremony will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead.
The prestigious Gold Circle honors television professionals whose careers span at least 50 years. This year, three distinguished honorees will be inducted into the Gold Circle:
Dodie Cantrell-Bickley, UGA Grady College of Journalism
Evelyn D. Mims, Mims Media Group
Rafael Ortiz-Guzman, Georgia TeVe
The Silver Circle recognizes television professionals who have dedicated 25 years or more to making significant contributions to the industry while providing meaningful leadership, mentorship, and service. Eight honorees will be inducted into the Silver Circle:

Joanne Feldman, Fox5 Atlanta
Tom Jones, WSB-TV
Troy Johnson, WAPT
Adam Murphy, Atlanta News First
Cheryl Preheim, 11Alive
Frank Sulkowski, WJCL
Greg West, WATC
“These honorees represent the very best of our profession,” said Tracey Rogers, President of NATAS Southeast. “Their service to the television or media-related industry, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences,and their community service has helped shape our industry for decades. We are proud to recognize their extraordinary contributions and celebrate the legacy they continue to build.”
The banquet and ceremonies will begin with a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m., with the induction ceremony starting at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are now available at https://southeastemmy.com/gold-silver-circle.
